Combined with other methodologies and technologies that OptimalTest has developed, the ability to rapidly and simply generate real-time and off-line rules and rule sets for simulation or execution allows you to leverage the full power of your organization’s knowledge.

Our open rules engine encompasses algorithms from various families: Test Time Reduction, Yield, Reliability, Quality, and Utilization.

Because of our integrated solutions architecture, data from various sources – fabrication, wafer sort, final test -- is available to each rule for adaptive, optimal testing. It includes data from all test sockets, including “current” and “previous” information from lots, wafers, devices and neighbors of various types (proximity, geography, lithography exposure, touchdown).

Each rule hub features a considerable variety of rule types, allowing flexible definition of triggers, actions and exception criteria for any business scenario. Our rule engine also enables structured creation of rules with enforced validation, redundancy management, conflict resolution and prioritization.

Our technology also enables you to manipulate rules so you can reuse, organize, bundle and publish rules. Copying rules from different products and test programs is as easy as “cut and paste,” with any conflicts immediately flagged for structured resolution. They can also be published to our station controller for real-time execution.
