Software Infrastructure
The software infrastructure technology is comprised of real-time tester control, rules, simulators and targets. OptimalTest achieves real-time tester control through OT-Proxy, for data collection, adaptive test and real-time monitoring. Rules are used to control testing processes and to alert via email when issues are detected. OptimalTest rules are algorithms designed to monitor process health and performance. Offline Statistical Process Control (SPC) rules are executed as soon as testing is complete and data is loaded into the database. These rules can provide engineers with an early indication of issues so that they can be fixed quickly. Extensive use of data simulation is used for several different purposes. Performance can be measured against a set of pre-defined targets such as Key Performance Indicators – (KPI’s).
